How to become a Magnetic Sponsor
Would you like to be a magnetic sponsor? Are you tired of the old school network marketing techniques? You know the 3 foot rule, hanging flyers, bugging your family and friends, and holding hotel meetings. It’s hard work. Don’t kill yourself trying to force your opportunities down people’s throat. As you read this article you will be introduced to the concept that has really always been around. Although rarely used when it comes to network marketing. If you are curious on how to become magnetic sponsor and attract leads into your business then this post may help you get started.
I was sucked into financial & time freedom hype…
because I wanted it. I really wanted it. However, I had no idea how to get leads. Well, I take that back. After getting started in another marketing company I was told to make a list of 100 or so people that I knew and to either blast an email out to all of them or call every one of them to ask and see if they would be interested in making some extra money.
By the way, blasting emails is a big no no because they are not personal and most people on the email list have no need to join your business. You might may say, well who doesn’t have a need to make money? You’re right, but you’re telling them to join a business not showing them how to make money.
Anyway, I thought calling people sounded like a great idea right? Well, I was faced with the daunting task of just picking up the phone for starters? I was nervous. I got questions after questions that I wasn’t able to answer, I got hung up on and friends who didn’t want to talk to me anymore. Looking back had I had a mentor or an upline that walked me through a system I would have been so much better off.
I then got this idea of buying leads, but that only got me more rejection and spending a bunch of money. Not forgetting to mention time wasted on trying to perfect my pitch that I also plastered all over the internet. But people had built walls that I could never see over. Moreover, for some strange reason this same patterned evolved as I went from different business opportunities to the next. And yet again, I was broke and frustrated….AND ready to give up.
Then, just as I was going to give up…
I found what I consider to be my “life saver” and what initially led me to become a magnetic sponsor. This life saver I speak of was my current primary business called Your Freedom Project. They taught me one thing that has changed my life and business forever and that was:
“You sell a marketing system to distributors. The marketing system sells your company’s products.”
I learned that if I wanted to attract leads and become a magnetic sponsor I needed a duplicatable system I could sell. This principal is paramount if you want to become a magnetic sponsor! Ask your self this. “Why work with me in my primary business.” Why? Why should anyone work with you? What is it that YOU can offer them as their leader. How do you express value to them? You see, people don’t join a business, they join you, because you can offer a marketing system and it’s that system that sells your company’s products, not YOU. Your job is to train people along way so they can use the system themselves eventually. Or they can apply the system to their own business.

So what does a magnetic sponsor look like…
“It looks like I’m not going to join any business unless I believe in your ability to teach me the marketing system you use so that I too can be successful and achieve my goals and desires.”
Do that and you’ll become a magnetic sponsor. And might I add, if you ever think you can build a long-term, successful network marketing business without spending the majority of your time interacting with people personally each day, you are mistaken. At least put yourself in front of people with some videos or pictures if you don’t like talking to people.
Now most business opportunities have websites and some with capture lead pages and even movies. That is good stuff, but that’s not what it takes to become a magnetic sponsor. Those are mere tools. And yes, you will get leads and even a few people sponsored through your capture lead pages if you play the numbers game long enough. What I’m talking about becoming a magnetic sponsor by offering value like a free E-book, email series, or audio or even a product with useful tips or instructions on how to do or use something.
Like maybe I gave out a free email series on the top 10 things any home based business owner should considered before starting (using an autoresponder) through a personal youtube video I created. Now, that is value and in turn prospects become encouraged to follow you in hopes of learning more or even to the point of joining you in your business.

Besides, if you can’t find a way to acquire customers and business builders all that stuff is useless anyway right? The greatest benefit of any business is simply what the industry can make of you.
