News Alert: Top poisons in skin care & how to avoid them
You know how ingredient labels on skin care and cosmetic products are often difficult to interpret into what is safe for our bodies. As a matter of fact, these harmful toxins are only considered impurities and exist as byproducts that are never mentioned, making it even more difficult for us to even know. Well, in this article I list the chemical ingredients found in these products that make them toxic and will give you some strategies to avoid them.
It’s hard to believe…
that large corporations are really killing us softly with toxins in the products our bodies absorb on a daily basis. We know the skin is our body’s largest organ, and anything we put onto our skin soaks through the layers and enters our bloodstream.
I’m talking about poisons that wrinkle your skin prematurely and are linked to signs of cancer. And for what? For a billion dollars exchanged through out this industry making businesses profit all over the world. The things people do for money.
As long as these commercially made creams, moisturisers and lotions contain dangerous and toxic ingredients and the government is getting their cut who cares right? If someone cared wouldn’t these products be made illegal? Or is way more difficult than that.
Unfortunately, most of these substances are lawful for organizations to add to their bodies, despite the harmful toxicities found in them. And so our wellness becomes our own duty. As a result, it is up to us to examine labels on what we buy. We just have to start making better decisions about these things, especially when it comes to our bodies.
Toxins are harmful because…
they can disrupt hormones, cause cancer, allow for neurological problems, memory loss, mood swings, reproductive and developmental disorders, kidney problems, headaches, vomiting, diarrhoea, lung damage, dermatitis and hair loss, and many more effects on the body.
8 Toxins to avoid when using skin care and cosmetic products
- DIOXANE
- PARABENS
